"Are there anymore…?" You ask him, referring to his countless injuries. There are no life-threatening wounds, but the fact that he's hurt bothers you to begin with. You hate it when Alfred gets hurt. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, you can't help but want to lock him away from all the dangers of the world, keeping him safe from any harm.
"No, you got all of them, [Name]. I owe you big time."
You nod, stomach churning and flipping around. America sits on the couch with a small slouch, most of his body covered in bandages. His left eye is quite the shiner and throbs whenever its touched.
"Who did this to you?" You question the blonde quietly. He didn't reply the first time you asked, instead, he ignored you. But you have to know. It's beginning to eat you alive.
"It doesn't matter, does it?" he smiles. "I still have you."
"Alfred…" Your voice trails away.
"Hey, don't look like that, [Name]! I'm perfectly fine!" Alfred laughs just as loud as he normally does. But it doesn't faze you.
After a second, he sees that you haven't lightened up, and stops laughing.
"Hey, are you alright?" he asks.
"You're not," You sniffle, the tears starting to push their way through. "Who did this?"
"I'm fine! Really, I am!" he insists. "And it isn't important, is it?"
"Who did this, Alfred? Please tell me."
The American suddenly gains extreme interest in the floor as he says the words "Some girl."
You don't say anything, glaring at him sharply. Eventually, he continues on.
"This chick named Sandy."
Your shoulders drop and your face falls into your hands. Alfred watches you for a moment, feeling horrible, then moves over to you at the other end of the couch.
"Hey, there's nothing to be sad about. I told you I'm fine." Alfred's voice is soft and light. Gently, he pulls your wrists away from your face, beaming at you.
"Why didn't you just tell me? What did she want? Why would she do such a thing?"
"I don't know, [Name]," Alfred wipes away your tears. "But what's done is done…I know I'll be alright. I'm the hero. Everything will be fine."
"I don't like to see you hurt, Alfred."
"And I don't like to see you cry."
You glance up at his face at a loss of words. Behind his glasses are the same robust eyes you have come to adore. He stares into your [e/c] pools, saying soothingly
"Please don't cry. That's the only thing making me sad right now."
"Okay," You wipe away the remaining tears and take a deep breath. "I'm sorry."
"There's nothing to be sorry about," Alfred smiles yet again and pulls you into a hug before resting his chin on your head. You wrap your arms around him, releasing a huge sigh. The warmth of his body made you feel more secure.
"I'm the one who should be sorry, [Name]. I really should be more careful…But Sandy's gone now, so we don't have to worry about her, ok?"
"Okay,"
"I'm not sure when I'll get better...But as long as you stay with me, I know everything will be fine."
You smile, heat rising to your face. "I won't ever leave."
"Thank you," Alfred lets go of you and you sit back onto the couch.
"I love you, Alfred."
"I love you more." He leans forward, puckering his lips obnoxiously.
You giggle and press your lips against his.
His kiss is sweet and heartfelt, unlike any other.
Alfred pulls you a little closer, making it easier to pour out his eternal passion.
And just as the kiss was getting good, he breaks it; wincing and letting out a soft cry.
You draw back instantly, face as hot as an oven, your heart racing against itself.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah—ouch—I'm fine." Alfred is clasping his side. "Too much excitement, I think."
"Maybe," you smile. "You should get some rest."
"That might not be a bad idea, [Name]." He lays himself down after you stand, giving him a pillow and going to fetch a blanket.
You're back in a flash.
"Here you go," You tuck him in with a sweet smile.
"Thanks, [Name]."
"There's nothing to thank me for…I love you, Alfred."

(My Santa)
It was Christmas Eve and as usual, you were alone…again.
This always happens to you every year. You wished and hoped for someone to be there and accompany you all the time. But, all the people you knew were all busy.
Sighing, you went to your living room with a blanket draping on your shoulders to keep yourself warm from the cold Christmas and a hot chocolate to keep your temperature high.
You carefully set the mug on the coffee table in front of you then plopped down on the couch behind you, hugging your knees and resting your head on your knee caps.
You didn't have much to do other than staring at the crackling fire to your

I am...the hero[Oneshot]
I know I annoy everyone with my behavior. I call myself the hero and try my best to act the part. But I have a reason for that.
On the date of December 15th, 1931 I fell in love with a girl. She had the most beautiful (h/c) hair I'd ever seen and her (e/c)eyes were always filled with the brightest rays of hope. She helped everyone around her. She would even give up her food to others and go without some nights.
On January 10th of 1932 I finally decided to approach her. She had greeted me with a bright smile and glimmering eyes.
"How are you today?" she asked casually as though life were perfectly fine.
